HGV Class 1 Driver – Minworth People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Minworth, West Midlands.

Shifts Working days between Monday and Sunday Start times between 04:00 and 08:00 Rates of Pay Basic Days: £16.00 per hour Basic Nights: £17.00 per hour Saturday: £17.50 per hour Sunday: £18.75 per hour Benefits Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay On-site canteen Training provided Immediate starts available Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties Complete RDC deliveries (curtain-side work, no handball) Operate and drive Class 1 (CE) vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all loads are correctly loaded and secured Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues to management Assist with loading and unloading of cargo when required Essential Skills Valid UK Category CE Licence Minimum of 6 months' Class 1 driving experience No more than six penalty points (no major endorsements) Valid UK CPC and Digital Tachograph Cards Good level of spoken and written English Reliable, punctual, and professional Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations Excellent communication skills Desirable Experience Previous experience driving commercial vehicles Multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided Driver assessment must be completed before starting Industry-related training and ongoing support provided throughout Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as an HGV Class 1 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more. xbpsjku
