HGV Class 1 night driver
An exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious national clients based inNewtown, Shropshirehas become available and we are currently looking for multipleHGV Class 1 night driver'sfor ongoing work until the end of December.
The role will entail and not limited to:

  • Making bulk deliveries & collections nationwide
  • Depot to depot deliveries and collections.
  • Trailer swaps and overseeing live loading/unloading.
  • Conducting vehicle checks pre and post-shift
  • Adhering to driving regulations including driving hours and rest periods
  • Effective communication with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries

Benefits & Pay
For the rightHGV Class 1 night driver:
  • Weeknight Rate - £18.15ph
  • Week night overtime - £25.25ph
  • Saturday night - £23.52ph
  • Saturday night overtime - £25.25ph
  • Sunday night - £26.25ph
  • Weekly bookings
  • Start time - 19:45
  • On gong work until the end of December

To be considered for thisHGV Class 1 night driverrole you will need:
  • Category C+E (held for minimum 2 years)
  • Minimum 6 Months C+E driving experience.
  • Valid Tahco and DQC cards
  • Clean driving license (desirable)
  • Experience in a similar role (desirable)
  • Able to successfully complete client driving assessment
  • Friendly, professional and dedicated to great customer service
