HGV Class 1 Night Driver

HGV Class 1 night driver, needed in Tewkesbury, paying £18.00 per hour + annual leave on top, Ongoing work Monday to Friday, starting between 18:00-20:00pm and finishing around 04:00-06:00am , Free on-site parking and optional overtime at £18.50ph which increases to £23.00 after 12 weeks. This role will include trunk runs to a central location, with no handballing required. Key Responsibilities:
Collect and deliver goods driving a Class 1 (Cat C+E) vehicle
Complete delivery notes and paperwork accurately
Represent the company professionally with a positive attitude
Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy
Always deliver excellent customer service
What We’re Looking For:
Hold a full, in-date UK Class 1 (Cat C+E) driving licence
Hold a valid, in-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Positive & professional 'can-do' attitude with customers
Be a team player and take pride in keeping trucks clean & tidy
Maximum of 9 points for minor endorsements
Over the age of 21 (insurance purposes)
Able to pass company induction, including:
Theory test
Walk-round checks
Driving & reversing assessments
Further Information:
£16.00 per hour before 18:00
£18.00 per hour from 18:00 onwards
Optional overtime:
£18.50 per hour
Rises to £23.00 per hour after 12 weeks
Choice of weekly or monthly pay
Paid annual leave
