HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver
to join our well-established client based in
Filton, Bristol . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, consistent weekday shifts, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression. This role is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver / Truck Driver / CE Driver. Shifts: Monday – Thursday 7am – 4pm & Friday: 7am – 12pm Rates of Pay: •
£18.47 per hour Benefits: As a HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver, you will receive: •

Immediate starts available Day-to-Day Duties: As a HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): •
Yard shunting around site •
Operating and manoeuvring Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently within the yard •
Completing daily yard and vehicle checks in line with site rules and health and safety guidelines •
Ensuring all trailers and loads are positioned and secured correctly •
Adhering to traffic laws, site regulations, and company procedures •
Communicating effectively with transport and warehouse teams (radio use is essential) •
Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements promptly Essential Skills: As a HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver, you will need: •
Minimum of one year's experience driving Category CE vehicles •
Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence •
No more than six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsements) •
Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card •
Excellent punctuality and timekeeping •
Good understanding of UK traffic laws and regulations •
Strong communication skills Desirable Experience: •
Experience working within a fast-paced yard or logistics environment Training :
