HGV Class 2 Driver – Widnes, Cheshire People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Widnes, Cheshire .

Shifts • Monday – Friday • Start times between 4am – 7am Rates of Pay • £16.90 – £24.90 per hour Benefits • Ongoing position with a leading company in the industry • Thorough first-day assessment and training as required • Competitive rates of pay • Weekly pay Day-to-Day Duties • Driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently • Completing 5–12 product deliveries to various stores across the UK each day • Ensuring all loads remain at correct temperature and are safe and secure • Safely unloading cages using a tail lift and delivering them into stores • Completing all necessary paperwork Essential Skills • Minimum 24 months' experience driving Category C vehicles • Valid UK Category C Driving Licence • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10, TT99) • No major endorsements • Strong customer service skills Desirable Experience • Multi-drop store delivery experience Training Provided First-day assessment followed by training as required, plus industry-related training and ongoing support.
