Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Class 2 (HGV) Driver on behalf of a well-established company based in Stourport. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term prospects for the right, flexible driver.

About the Role
This is a unique and varied driving role where flexibility is key. Work patterns can change week to week, so we’re looking for drivers who are comfortable with varying start times and shift frequencies.
Typical duties include:
Driving a Class 2 vehicle to customer or job locations
Waiting on site while work is completed
Returning the vehicle back to base once the job is finishedThis is not multi-drop work and does not involve rushed schedules - patience and professionalism are essential.

Working Hours & Shifts

Some weeks may involve up to 5 shifts, other weeks as little as 1 shift
Start times can vary (typically between 06:00 and 09:00)
Finish times can vary (sometimes up to 18:30, often earlier)
Flexibility is essential, as job durations can change
Pay & Benefits

£15.00 per hour
Temp-to-perm opportunity
This role will be treated as your priority assignment
If you are not required every day, Pertemps can source additional work on other days to help keep you busy
Requirements
To be considered, you must:

Hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
Have minimum 12 months Class 2 driving experience
Have no more than 6 penalty points
Be over 25 years old (insurance purposes)
Be reliable, patient, and flexible with working hours
