HGV Class 2 Driver

to join our well-established client based in

Normanton, West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and room to grow and progress. We are looking for drivers who are flexible to work both day and night shifts. You must undergo a DBS check for this role as you will be delivering to hospitals, care homes and GP surgeries. This role will be ongoing for the right candidate. Benefits As a HGV Class 2 Driver your benefits will be: Free parking Chance of permanent position Competitive rates Weekly pay Shifts: Sunday - Thursday: 16:00 - 21:00 start times Monday - Friday: 06:00 start times Rates of Pay: Days £16.90 per hour basic, overtime after 42 hours £24.90 per hour Nights £19.79 per hour, overtime after 42 hours £27.79 per hour Day to Day Duties Your duties as a HGV Class 2 Driver will be: Drive/operate Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently Flexible for start times Complete cage deliveries to Hospital Trusts, GP Surgeries and Care Homes Use a tail lift correctly and safely Be available to cover ad hoc work where required Follow Company procedures and comply with driving rules and regulations Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed and vehicle is well presented at all times Essential Skills The skills required to be a HGV Class 2 Driver are: Hold a valid UK Category C licence and have held this for a minimum of one year Hold a valid UK CPC and Digital Tacho Card Have a minimum of one year experience driving Category C vehicles Maximum of six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes Work in a professional manner Must undergo a DBS check Positive can do attitude Willing to learn Desirable Experience Experience making deliveries to GP surgeries, hospitals and care homes Training A
