Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for aHGV Class 2 Dustcart Driverto join our successful client based in theNorwich NR5 area. Our client who specializes in Waste Management is transforming waste into valuable resources and lessening its impact on the environment.

A minimum of 3 months' experience within last 6 months in HGV Class 2 driving is essential.

HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver - Duties & Responsibilities

The right person will be responsible for driving the refuse lorry and assisting loaders with collecting/emptying bins from residential premises, returning them where necessary, and ensuring all additional work and missed bins are completed.

• Drive and operate a Class 2 dustcart, refuse lorry, or bin lorry
• Collect refuse from a different local area each day of the week
• Ensure completion of all additional work and missed bins
• Assist with manually moving domestic wheelie bins
• Maintain awareness of other vehicles or people on the road and operate the lorry safely

HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver - Person Specification

• UK HGV Class 2 driving license (minimum 6 months)
• Digital tachograph card & CPC card
• Good team working skills and good communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage
