HGV Class 2 Driver – Warrington, Cheshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Warrington, Cheshire.

Shifts
 • Monday to Friday
 • 08:00 starts

Rates of Pay
 • £16.00 per hour (based on a standard 48-hour week)

Day-to-Day Duties
 • Drive and operate HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and efficiently
 • Complete 4–6 deliveries per day to various stores across the UK
 • Maintain load temperatures throughout transit
 • Handle palletised deliveries safely and accurately
 • Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points
 • Report any delivery issues or customer concerns promptly to management

Essential Skills
 • Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
 • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
 • Minimum of six months' experience driving Class 2 vehicles
 • No more than six points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10, or TT99 codes)
 • Strong communication and customer service skills
 • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude

Desirable Experience
 • Previous experience handling Class 2 palletised deliveries

Training Provided
 • First-day site assessment
 • Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
