The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Warrington area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Multi-drop Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.
*Please note that candidates will be required to attend a 2-day induction.*
Hours:Monday to Friday with Saturdays as and when required, start times between 04:00am - 06:00am.Pay Rate:£18.00 per hour PAYE.Location:Warrington, WA5.Job Type:Temp to perm.
The role:

• Multi-drop deliveries (food industry) and delivering to a wide range of customers on pre-planned routes.
• Picking products/orders on the rear of the vehicle as part of the delivery process.
• Deliveries will include carrying stock into kitchens/ customer premises.
• Maintain physical fitness, as the role involves handball, sack truck, roll cage and pallet truck usage.
• Maintain a high standard of service and professionalism when interacting with customers and dealing with any issues as they arise.
• Ensuring paperwork and invoices are correctly processed.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Have at least 6 months of experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Have multi-drop experience, in the food industry would be beneficial
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Availability for early morning shifts and occasional weekend work.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Physical fitness and capability to handle manual handling.
