Staff Solutions UK Ltd is currently recruiting for an experienced Van Driver on behalf of our client based in Barking, Essex. This position is offered on a temp perm basis meaning you would work through us for the first 12 weeks and then be taken on permanently by our client. Please note that this position starts at 03.00am each day. You can expect to work for around 8 hours per shift, Sunday Friday, 6 nights. This would be 48 hours per week. You will be driving a long wheelbase van and making deliveries to companies based in London & Kent. You would need to be flexible with regards to working times as you will maybe required to cover other drivers off on holiday or sickness. Key Responsibilities: Operate a 3.5 tonne long wheelbase van for deliveries across London. Load and unload vehicle and keep it clean and tidy. Provide cover for other drivers during holidays and sickness Learn and maintain all current delivery routes. Support the Transport Manager with daily transport operations. Use basic computer skills for logging deliveries and updating schedules Ensure vehicle safety and report maintenance issues promptly.
