Vehicle Transporter Driver

Due to expansion, JLL Vehicle Distribution, one of the UKs leading transported vehicle collection & delivery companies, part of the DMN Group, are looking to recruit experienced professional drivers to operate a range of vehicles from 7.2-ton, 2 x car twin deck sleeper cab car transporter which tows a 3.5t single car trailer, pick up and trailer & 3.5t single car carriers.
Main duties will include the safe collection, delivery, and appraisal of new/used vehicles from all over the UK predominantly to end users and home deliveries using MoDel and our in-house appraisal app.
You will be responsible for appraising vehicles accurately before loading and obtaining customer signatures upon collection/delivery, so excellent customer services skills are required. A mobile phone will be provided for electronic vehicle inspections/photos using our inhouse system.
You must hold a Class 1 or C1E licence (No 107 restriction) to enable a 3.5t car trailer to be towed behind the 7.2t truck and have a digital tachograph card and current driver CPC .

Operating days are Monday to Friday with nights out being required, on average 2 to 3 per week, plus occasional weekend work as required.
Skills and Experience:
You must be a smart, punctual and reliable individual.
You will be self-motivated with a can do attitude.
You must be proficient and able to use multiple devices.
Have a full UK driving licence, Have a class 1 or C1E qualification minimum without a 107 restriction.
Hold a full CPC qualification.
Happy to be flexible, as days can be unpredictable.
Must have had previous experience within a similar role.

The main operations base is in Smethwick working out of a secure compound with 24-hour access, we also operate several satellite storage facilities around the UK.
