HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER Sparkbrook, West Midlands
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Sparkbrook, West Midlands . This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, ongoing work, and real opportunities for progression.
Shifts   • Monday to Friday   • 06:00am starts
Rates of Pay   • £15.00 per hour – Basic rate

Day-to-Day Duties   • Curtainside deliveries (no handball involved)   • Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently   • Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections   • Ensuring all cargo is correctly loaded and secured   • Adhering to UK road traffic laws and safety regulations   • Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers   • Reporting any defects or maintenance issues promptly   • Assisting with loading and unloading when required   • Completing a maximum of 5 drops per day
Essential Skills   • Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence   • Minimum 12 months' experience driving Category C vehicles   • Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card   • No more than six points for minor offences (no major endorsements)   • Good level of written and spoken English   • Strong punctuality and time management   • Good understanding of road safety and transport regulations   • Excellent communication skills
Desirable Experience   • Previous Class 2 multi-drop delivery experience   • Experience driving other commercial vehicles
Training Provided   • Full driver induction provided prior to starting work
