HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER – BOLTON

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Bolton.

The successful driver will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness by operating specialist sweeping equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work within a professional and supportive environment.

Shifts

• Monday to Friday, plus occasional Saturdays

• 07:00 – 18:00

Rates of Pay

• £14.00 per hour (basic)

• £18.00 per hour (after 11 hours / Saturdays)

Day-to-Day Duties

• Safely and efficiently operate HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles

• Carry out road sweeping of public roads, building sites, and housing estates

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks

• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation

• Comply with all UK traffic laws and driver regulations

Essential Skills

• Valid UK Category C Driving Licence (held for a minimum of one year)

• Minimum of one year's experience driving Category C vehicles

• Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card

• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsements)

• Positive ‘can-do' attitude and strong work ethic

• Good communication and customer service skills

Training Provided

• Full site induction

• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
