Lead Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Lead Driver to join our team in Warrington. This is a hands-on role combining daily driving responsibilities with team leadership. You will be on the road each day completing deliveries while also overseeing transport operations and supporting a team of drivers to maintain high service standards.
Mon to Sat (Half day Sat) Up to 55hrs per week

Key Responsibilities Be on the road daily completing deliveries and collections

Lead, support, and supervise a team of drivers

Act as the key liaison between drivers and management, ensuring clear communication both ways

Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time

Maintain compliance with transport regulations and company policies

Support training and on-boarding of new drivers

Requirements Valid UK driving licence with no endorsements for drink drug or careless driving.

Previous experience in a driving role (multi-drop experience preferred)

Experience supervising or leading a team of drivers

Strong communication and organisational skills
